  • Students, have you ever wanted to learn how to play the violin, viola or cello?  Wednesday mornings from 8:00 -8:30 am in room D-108, Ms. Moye and Mrs. Echeverria will be instructing the Landmark String Conservatory. 
  • Fundraiser kicks off Wed. 9/8 and runs through Wed. 9/22. Items will range between $1.00- $20.00. Please support our school by committing to selling at least 1 item. With each student selling at least 1 item we can raise over $3000.00 for our school activities.  Our goal for the entire school is to raise at least $5,000. A little support goes along way.
  • 9-7/10: Wear yellow this week in support of yellow ribbon week. Friday we will collect spirit points and the homeroom with the most wins a prize from Mrs. Rosenberg.
  • Next dance will be Thursday Sept. 16th for 7th and 8th graders only. Permission slips will be available on Friday 9/10 through homerooms. Tickets go on sale Monday 9/13 $3.00 in advance and $5.00 at the door. You won’t want to miss this event as Mr. Swiff from KGGI 99.1 will be our DJ in the house. Bring extra cash for snacks.

  • Students walking to and from school should cross safely at cross walks and corners.
  • Jaywalking is not allowed.
  • Dropping students off in cars can be done on the street side near the school or by driving through the parking drop off on campus. Students should not cross Oliver or Legendary when being dropped off or picked up.
  • Parents please do not park in neighborhood drive ways or make u-turns around the school.
  • Speed limit near schools is 15 miles an hour.

    We encourage you to visit our campus and participate in the educational process. We appreciate classroom and lunch volunteers. When visiting our school, the following guidelines must be adhered to:
    • All visitors to the campus must check in at the front office before going to any classroom
    • All visitors must have a visitor’s pass before going out on campus
    • All students on campus must be officially checked out by the front office and only by an adult listed on the emergency card.
    • Visitors that do not follow the procedures will be referred back to the front office by school staff.

    If you need transportation for your student please contact the MVUSD transportation department (951- 571-7500 x 17393) to obtain a bus pass before school starts. Students cannot ride the bus without a bus pass. Parents of bus riders are asked to review the student handbook regarding the following behavior with their students. Please remind them that they should wait for the bus orderly and respectfully, enter the bus by greeting the bus driver, take a seat and remain seated until exiting the bus and keep their voices down to avoid distractions that would make the ride to/from school unsafe. Student behavior on the bus will set the tone for the day.
     
    Lunch Information
    If you would like an application for free and reduced lunch you can pick one up at the District Office prior to the beginning of school. Once school starts applications will be available in the cafeteria at Landmark.
