Principal's Message

Welcome to Landmark Middle School—home of the Knights! We are pleased to share information about Landmark via this website and encourage you to explore the different pages on our amazing school through the provided links. The administration, teachers, and staff are committed to creating an environment for our students that is highly academic and genuinely supportive. We also aim to nurture our students’ confidence by fostering the intellectual, social, and technological skills needed for their success in the future. Our students are diverse, hard working, spirited, creative, and engaged in the process of becoming college and career ready.

We have a talented teaching staff that shows their dedication to teaching through the use of effective methodologies, ongoing professional development, and a commitment to making a difference in students’ lives every day. We work hard and strive to meet the goals and objectives established by the Moreno Valley Unified School District, the California Department of Education, and the Landmark School community.

On behalf of the teachers and staff, I would also like to thank you for all of the support we receive from you at home. You really do make a difference in the overall success of the school and your child’s education. We appreciate the time you spend helping your child with homework, encouraging them to attend all of their classes, checking on their progress, and remembering to make reviewing the Landmark student planner a daily family activity.

Please feel free to share your time, ideas and suggestions with the school. It is an honor to be a member of the Landmark community of dedicated teachers, staff, parents, and students. By working together, we can continue to make Landmark Middle School an even greater place to learn and grow.

Eigth Grade Picnic: June 11th @ 1:00-3:24 PM
The Landmark Parents Involved in Education (LPIE), our parent booster club, is hosting the 8th grade picnic on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 1:00 – 3:24 p.m. at the south field of the Landmark Middle School.

All 8th grade parents and 8th grade students are invited. We have invited DJ Amber and a host of other volunteers to help celebrate their time in Landmark. Please come and join us. The staff, LPIE, the teachers, and your children will be happy to see you.
Early Registration for the 2015-2016 Washington D.C. is happening now!
Attention ALL Landmark Middle School Students: EARLY Registration for the 2015-16 Washington D.C. trip is happening NOW! This once in a lifetime experience is an exciting opportunity to explore our nation’s capital and is the perfect mix of fun and education. Early Registration Discounts, Fundraising, scholarships and academic school credits are available. See Ms. C. Thomas in D102 for additional information or contact her at: or (951)571-4220 x21302. You can also submit the “Interest Cards” with your contact information to Ms. Thomas, who will contact you directly with additional information. There will be an Important Informational Meeting about the 2015-2016 Washington, D.C. trip on June 8th at 3:30 and 5:30PM in D102.
